This colorful facade matches its location, San Juan de Alicante, where the exterior facade of the Carrefour shopping center has been completely renovated, using a composite panel resource together with these perforated and post-lacquered steel trays.
One of the latest projects in which TAS has participated with the supply of its Architectural Tray has been this Carrefour shopping center in San Juan de Alicante, Spain.
TAS has manufactured Architectural Trays in different widths and with a 10 x 10 mm square random perforation. For this project, up to four different colors have been combined to achieve the chromatic scale that was demanded. These Architectural Trays have been made of steel with a thickness of 1 mm and folded on all four sides, to achieve greater rigidity, durability and ease of assembly.
The solution has been installed on the entire upper part of the façade of this Carrefour shopping center and has been combined at the same time with the main facade built with composite panel. This shows that the solutions manufactured by TAS in both steel and aluminum are very versatile and allow a world of solutions within the reach of any designer, architect or technician.
These trays are mainly used for decoration to give character to the building and are installed on an auxiliary support structure with omega profiles. In addition, they provide greater insulation against extreme temperatures since they protect the main facade.
